Mrs. Betty Antwi, General Manager
Mrs. Antwi is the General Manager for Bethel Dental Clinic. Her role is to ensure that all the pieces come together to make every visit to Bethel a pleasant dental experience. Mrs. Antwi comes to Bethel with over 26 years of experience in business management and in health information management systems. She has her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana and a Master’s Degree in Health Informatics and Information Management from the College of St Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota, USA. She is a member of the American Health Information Managers Association (AHIMA) ,as well as the American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM).
Mrs. Antwi’s dream is to see a West Africa with excellent healthcare delivery. She therefore sees her role at Bethel as her contribution to that dream. She lives on the outskirts of the city of Accra. She is married to Charles, a lawyer, and has three boys, the youngest of whom is threatening to be a scientist. She enjoys shopping, fitness walking, and baking in her free time.
Bernice Robertson, Dental Assistant
Bernice works as a Dental Assistant at Bethel. She trained first as an airline ground handling staff before switching into dentistry. Her passion is to care for others, and her role as a dental assistant enables her to exhibit this passion. Bernice loves to cook and watch movies when she is not hanging out with her dog Chico. She is fluent in Ga, Twi, and English. Bernice successfully took the Dental Assistants with Expanded Functions (DAEF) course organized by Pamela Lewis of the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University in Pennsylvania, USA. She attends the Praise Community Church in Adenta and sings in the choir.
Christopher Atsu, Dental Assistant
For Atsu, a pioneer staff member of Bethel, dentistry is an art which gives him the opportunity to use his creativity to solve problems. It is always challenging but interesting. Atsu had his High School education at Preset Pacesetters Senior High School in Accra. He has had training in the American Heart Association Module Training in Basic Life Support, organized by Africa Partners Medical in Ghana. He also took the Dental Assistants with Expanded Functions (DAEF) course organized by Pamela Lewis of the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University in the USA. In addition to dental assisting, Atsu is responsible for maintaining the high hygiene standards at Bethel. Any time you walk into Bethel Dental Clinic and you notice the clean surroundings and refreshing aroma, remember it's the magic touch of Atsu!
In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer. He speaks Twi, Ewe, and English. He hopes to get married soon.
Mary Aba Aryee, Dental Assistant
Mary has been with our practice for over a year now, and she is very proud to work alongside such a talented team. She studied at Kings College and the Business Institute. Her hardworking nature makes her a great fit for the Bethel Dental Clinic!
Originally from the Central Region of Moree near Cape Coast, Mary hails from a loving family. When she isn’t busy at work, she enjoys listening to music.
Michael Owusu Antwi, Operations Manager
Michael serves as the link between the Bethel Team all its suppliers, service providers and corporate clients. He ensures all logistics and services that keep smooth dental operations are in place at all times. He also handles public oral health education by getting the public to know about how oral health affects overall health and the need to see a dentist regularly. Michael graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Philosophy from the University of Ghana. He later obtained a Master of Public Health (Health Policy, Planning, and Management) from the School of Public Health at the University of Ghana. He has extensive experience in public health education and dental practice management.
Mike lives in Accra with his wife Joana. His hobbies are chatting and playing with kids. He is a Sunday School teacher at the Church of Pentecost’s Afienya Branch.
Alex Otuei, Dispatch
At Bethel, we try to run a paperless operation. However, not all the institutions and regulators we deal with are set up to operate in a paperless fashion. We therefore have to make periodic deliveries. This is where Alex comes in. He has been with Bethel for the last 5 years and his contribution has been invaluable. He joined our office from Newmont Gold Ghana. He is married with three kids.
Redeemer Nana Ama Ampem, Front Office Executive
Redeema has been working in the dental field for nearly three years so far. She studied at Valley View University and has a professional certificate in HR. She’s also attended advanced training at the Institute of Human Resource Management & Practitioners. Our patients enjoy her beautiful smile and innovative personality very much during their visits.
Redeema is originally from Kumasi and has a loving, unified family at home. Her hobbies include chatting with friends, dancing, and cooking.
